Ecomigrator ("we", "our", or "us") provides tools that let users connect and sync their e-commerce orders to QuickBooks Online. We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you use Ecomigrator:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and user ID when you sign up or log in.
• Connected store data: When you connect WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms, we access order data, customer information, and product details only as necessary to sync to QuickBooks.
• OAuth tokens: Secure credentials issued by WooCommerce, QuickBooks, or other providers to authorize access. We store these tokens in encrypted form.
• Usage data: Logs and technical data used for debugging, security, and service improvement.

3. Use of WooCommerce and QuickBooks APIs

When you connect a WooCommerce store, Ecomigrator uses WooCommerce's REST API with OAuth authentication. When you connect QuickBooks Online, we use Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization system. Access is limited to the scopes you approve during the consent process. We use this data solely to provide Ecomigrator features, such as:

• Fetching your orders, refunds, and customer data from your store.
• Creating invoices, sales receipts, or journal entries in QuickBooks.
• Syncing customer and product information between platforms.
• Displaying sync history and status in your dashboard.

4. How We Use Information

We use your information solely to:

• Synchronize your e-commerce orders with QuickBooks Online.
• Display sync status and history in your Ecomigrator dashboard.
• Maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and security of the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or order data with third parties. Access to your OAuth data and stored information is limited to authorized service processes and personnel who require it to operate, maintain, or improve Ecomigrator, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Using HTTPS/TLS for all communication with our servers.
• Encrypting OAuth tokens and other sensitive data at rest.
• Restricting access to production systems to authorized personnel only.
• Monitoring systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• OAuth tokens and cached data are retained only while your Ecomigrator account is active and necessary to provide the service.
• You may disconnect your WooCommerce, QuickBooks, or other accounts at any time via settings in the app, which revokes our access.
• You may request deletion of your Ecomigrator account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@ecomigrator.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain limited records.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to applicable law.
• Withdraw consent by disconnecting linked accounts at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

Ecomigrator is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
